A Historic Acropolis Rally with the essence, images, Special Stages and the structure of its legendary past events, in some of the most beautiful corners of Greece, will be held on June 4-5, 2022.

The Historic Acropolis of 2022 for historic Sporting racing cars will be a candidate event for the European Historic Car Rally Championship of the following year.

The aim of the organizing committee is to restore the atmosphere, experience and structure of the Acropolis Rallies of the past. There will be no repeated Special Stages, and Service will be allowed everywhere in the liaisons.

Staying true to its legacy, the Rally will start at the shadow of the Parthenon monument, under the Acropolis of Athens - a legendary location for the World Rally Championship. The event will be based at the city of Itea, 200 km north-west of Athens.

A seperate event of the 2022 Historic Acropolis Rally, during the same days of June 4-5, will also be a part of the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies.
